About the Project

Bezmezhau DNS — Open Internet for Belarus

We built Bezmezhau to make modern digital services simple, fast, and secure for everyone in Belarus without the hassle of heavy VPN software.

What is Bezmezhau DNS?

Technical architecture and operational principles

Bezmezhau DNS is a public encrypted DNS resolver featuring selective SmartDNS routing technology and DNS-level ad and tracker filtering.

Unlike a traditional VPN that reroutes your entire network traffic through an encrypted tunnel causing latency and speed drops, Bezmezhau handles only DNS lookups. Your actual web traffic (video streaming, downloads, gaming) flows directly between your ISP and destination servers at maximum line speed.

Infrastructure

High Reliability

Primary node: 143.20.64.55 in a European data center with direct upstream peering links.

Secondary node: 91.108.243.78 for automated failover.

Protocols: Standard DNS (53), DoT (853), DoH (443 TLS 1.3), and strict DNSSEC validation.

Filtering: Daily updated blocklist of over 120,000 advertising and telemetry domains.

Privacy

Strict No-Logs Policy

Zero Logs: We do not log, inspect, or store DNS query histories or client IP addresses.

No Registration: The service is 100% open. No registration, email addresses, or proprietary apps required.

Encryption: Modern DoH and DoT protocols safeguard your lookups from ISP snooping and rogue Wi-Fi networks.
